Privacy Policy
Effective October 22, 2026
Paint Rock ISD runs this silent auction website to raise money for its students. This policy explains what information we collect when you bid and how we use it.
What we collect
- Your full name, mobile phone number, and email address, entered when you bid.
- Your bids, including the private maximum you are willing to pay.
- Whether you asked for outbid alert emails, and when you changed that choice.
- Basic technical information, such as your IP address, used only to prevent abuse.
To save you typing, your browser remembers your name, phone number, and email on your own device. You can clear this at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
How we use it
- To run the auction, place bids on your behalf up to your maximum, and decide winners.
- To email winners their pickup and payment details, and to call them if needed.
- If you opted in, to email you when someone outbids you. See our Terms.
What other bidders can see
The public auction pages show only the current price and the high bidder's first name and last initial (for example, “Jane D.”). Your phone number, email, full name, and maximum bid are never shown publicly. District auction staff can see bid details in order to run the auction.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your information, and we never use it for marketing. Service providers that host this website, store its data, and deliver its emails process it only on our behalf.
Keeping your information
Auction records are kept as part of the district's fundraising records. To ask about, correct, or remove your information, contact us.
